The Joy Network

About The Joy Network

The Joy Network is an international consortium bringing together scholars, activists, artists, and local and Indigenous knowledge holders who recognize that understanding joy is essential for navigating contemporary challenges.

What We Do

Launched in Year 1 and growing throughout the project, the network functions as both community and resource. We will host regular online seminars featuring emerging research, maintain a curated bibliography spanning disciplines and cultural contexts, share methodological innovations, and facilitate collaborations between academic and non-academic partners.

Join us

Whether you’re an established scholar, early-career researcher, community organizer, artist, or simply someone interested in how joy sustains us through difficult times, the Joy Network welcomes you. Together we celebrate human capacity for connection and hope even in troubled times.
